Community Enterprise provides development support and consultancy to community-led and purpose-driven organisations to help them grow, become more sustainable and deliver lasting impact for people, place and planet.
As a social enterprise, we reinvest 100% of our profits into strengthening communities and the sector through long-term mentoring and capacity building.
Together with Bold Studio and Breeze Digital, we make up the Community Enterprise Family, bringing a breadth of expertise to support third sector organisations to thrive.
We work across Scotland and beyond with organisations of all sizes from grassroots community groups to established charities and social enterprises.
We started as a Scottish organisation but now regularly provide support to organisations based across the UK and internationally. Please note that our free support programmes - Accelerate, Just Enterprise, and our Crisis Recovery service - are currently only available to organisations based in Scotland.
We offer a wide range of development support and consultancy services, from feasibility studies and options appraisals to financial planning and marketing. You can explore our services and examples of our work on our What We Do page.
Our support offer is tailored to each organisation, drawing on the experience of our team and network of associates. This means our services are flexible and extend beyond the list you see here.

We provide free support for Scottish third sector organisations through Accelerate, our Crisis Recovery service and as a key delivery partner of the Just Enterprise programme. We also deliver our Social Enterprise Support Map, a free online tool to help community groups, third sector organisations and social enterprises navigate free and subsidised support available across Scotland.
We understand that many organisations face funding pressures. If your organisation requires development support but has a limited budget, please get in touch with our friendly team who can help discuss your options.
