Celebrating social enterprises making a difference across Scotland

Community Enterprise is proud to have sponsored three awards celebrating the achievements of social enterprises and purpose-led businesses across Scotland.

Recognising the people and organisations making a positive difference in their communities is an important part of supporting a thriving social enterprise sector. From finding innovative solutions to social challenges to creating opportunities and driving positive change, these awards highlight the fantastic work happening across Scotland.

Social Enterprise Scotland’s Awards are an opportunity to showcase the very best of our sector, celebrating the vital role social enterprises have in supporting communities, building places, and making a positive impact on our environment and wellbeing.

This year, we were pleased to sponsor the Social Innovation of the Year category.

Congratulations to the winners, Socialudo, whose innovative use of games and serious play helps turn research and ideas into meaningful, real-world change.

We would also like to recognize and congratulate all the other nominees, whose work demonstrates the creativity and innovation that make Scotland's social enterprise sector so special.

Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards

We were proud to sponsor the Purpose-Led Business of the Year category this year at the Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards.

Women play a significant role in leading and shaping social enterprises and purpose-led businesses. It was particularly meaningful for us to support an award recognising female-led businesses that use their purpose to drive social change and economic growth.

Congratulations to our category winners, The Consent Collective. Combining expertise in the psychology of sexual harm with behavioural science, their work supports organisations to prevent and respond to sexual harassment. Their approach is a great example of how purpose-led businesses can tackle complex social issues and create meaningful change.

We'd also like to congratulate the other nominees in the category. The quality of the enterprises recognised was fantastic, and it was inspiring to see so many women-led organisations using their purpose to make a positive difference.

West Lothian Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards

Looking ahead, we're excited to be supporting the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce's Business Excellence Awards on 27 November, where we will sponsor the Community Impact Award.

As a Livingston-based organisation, we're particularly excited to support an award that recognises local businesses and enterprises making a positive difference across West Lothian. Celebrating the organisations that contribute to stronger, more connected communities is something we're passionate about.
