After starting her career in private sector human resources, Kate moved into the third sector, gaining various skills and experience in volunteer management, policy development, leading campaigns and stakeholder engagement. Previous roles also involved developing campaigns, supporting vulnerable people and facilitating group work at various levels. To broaden her community development experience and work with charities and social enterprises, Kate started working at Community Enterprise in 2019 in Research and Project Support, building a solid foundation in community-based research before stepping into the role of Development Officer in 2020.
Kate has an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen and a postgraduate degree from Strathclyde University Business School.
