Pillar Kincardine work to improve the lives of adults living in Kincardine and Mearns suffering the distress of emotional, social or mental health problems.
Nicola facilitated an in-person strategy development and risk management workshop and formed the findings of this session into a report and risk register. Pillar Kincardine thought deeply about their mission and redefined it. They identified stakeholders that could be engaged for new and/or strengthened referral streams and defined their unique offering in the competitive landscape. They articulated value propositions for their target beneficiaries and gained a deeper understanding of managing organisational risk.
Pillar Kincardine then worked with Margot on evolving their marketing and messaging to embed these new learnings. Firstly, an audit was carried out on their existing marketing, and a review of competitor marketing was undertaken. Recommendations were then made for improvement, with an emphasis on channeling the voices of their beneficiaries. No one can say better what impact Pillar Kincardine has than those who use their services. Finally, recommendations were made on how to implement this new approach across all their marketing channels - social media, website, events, press and more.
Pillar Kincardine gained a strengthened sense of what was still working for them and what required review and new ways of working. The organisation have returned for a further round of Scottish government-funded support through the Accelerate programme, to rebuild their website and enable full implementation of the new marketing strategy.
"Accelerate offered an opportunity to gain fresh insight into our governance and operations, inspiring change where weaknesses were highlighted and confirming our confidence in what we do well."
