The challenge
Cambusbarron Village Nursery CIC was a rebrand and restructure of a local playgroup that had served the community for 50 years. It was looking to explore how it could expand its services with a view to its longer-term sustainability.
How we helped
We provided support in exploring the potential for new services which could contribute to the CIC’s financial sustainability, deliver social impact, and build on the CIC’s specialisms in outdoor and woodland learning.
The result
Relocated to purpose-built site in local woodland
Cambusbarron Village Nursery was able to move forward with confidence in developing its woodland play sessions.
Soon after, they relocated to a purpose-built site following the purchase of local woodland by the local Community Development Trust.
