Kilmacolm Eco Space are a newly formed unincorporated organisation with a small committee. The group has identified an area of land owned by Inverclyde Council and has submitted an expression of interest for a community asset transfer.
Community Enterprise worked with the group to undertake a community consultation into the support and need for a Community Eco Space in the village. The consultation included a community survey, stakeholder calls, research and analysis.
As part of the process the group were also able to raise awareness of the project and attract new people to the committee.
"The Community Enterprise Development Officer was professional, flexible and obliging, with a friendly manner. We developed a good working relationship. She showed a genuine interest in our project and was enthusiastic and encouraging. Her language skills are of a high standard. It was a real pleasure working with her and I look forward to working with her again."
