Strategic Development Manager

Following a diverse early career in sectors including the antiques trade and tourism, Sarah moved into the social enterprise world over 20 years ago. Since then, she has worked across Scotland to support, connect and champion the sector, bringing a strong commitment to collaboration and long‑term ecosystem development.

Before joining Community Enterprise, Sarah worked with Scotland’s national social enterprise intermediary, where she developed thematic networks, supported local social enterprise activity and helped ensure the sector’s voice was represented in national policy discussions.

Seeking a new challenge and a role focused on system‑wide impact, she joined Community Enterprise in 2022 as Strategic Development Manager. In this role, she leads on strategic partnerships, national policy engagement and new development opportunities that strengthen and grow the sector.
