Lynda Johnstone
Development Officer
Lynda joined Community Enterprise in 2019 and has worked in community development, social justice, disability, and social housing since 1990.
She manages a diverse portfolio of projects and is a skilled project manager, facilitator, and trainer; building the capacity of individuals, communities, and organisations throughout the UK. Known for her facilitation skills, Lynda excels at enabling meaningful participation and engagement at both individual and organisational levels. She has significant experience coordinating Local Place Plans and Community Action Plans, ensuring inclusive community involvement, robust evidence gathering, and alignment with strategic planning frameworks. She also undertakes charity governance reviews, supporting organisations to strengthen their structures, comply with best practice, and strategically plan for long-term sustainability.
Drawing on her interpersonal skills, rapport, and ability to connect with people, Lynda supports organisations to achieve growth, change, and strategic clarity. She has held various Trustee positions with national charities and brings this governance and strategic insight to her work at Community Enterprise.
