The challenge

Many third sector organisations rely on short-term grant funding, and increasing funding scarcity and restrictions make it increasingly difficult to sustain projects over the long term.

In response to these challenges, Impact Funding Partners sought to commission training to support organisations to develop more sustainable approaches to their work and funding.

How we helped

We supported Impact Funding Partners by delivering a practical training workshop for charities and community organisations on building long-term sustainability beyond grant funding.

The session explored business planning, full cost recovery, income generation, pricing, reserves, fundraising and governance, helping participants identify realistic ways to strengthen their organisations' financial resilience and reduce dependence on grants.
