The challenge
Braid Health and Wellbeing is an established Day Care centre based in Livingston, offering a range of social and well-being activities to clients, carers, and their families for those with dementia and other age-related conditions.
Braid wanted to reposition themselves from a daycare centre for elderly people into a community-based hub serving a wide variety of audiences and age groups in the community.
How we helped
We supported Braid by exploring the potential uses for the community space and partnership links, and creating a detailed action plan for the hub.
The action plan set out the options for diversifying services and detailed ways to increase income.

Action plan created detailing clear next steps towards sustainability
Thanks to our support, Braid now have a clear action plan for a sustainable future, giving their board the information they need to confidently decide next steps for the centre.
