Arbroath Courthouse Trust

Arbroath Courthouse Trust was formed to protect and restore Arbroath’s historic courthouse and guildhall buildings and return them to productive community use. The trust aim to support local regeneration, skills development and enterprise whilst creating welcoming spaces for everyone in Arbroath to meet, learn and connect.

The trust needed support to improve their digital communications activity, in order to help them achieve their long term goals around engagement and fundraising.

Through Accelerate, we supported the trust by delivering a digital marketing audit, capturing their existing online presence and making recommendations for the development of social media, a website and general use of online tools.  

Thanks to Accelerate, ACT now has an active and vibrant Instagram account, amongst other platforms. This also allowed ACT to launch a successful crowdfunder campaign.

The Trust were also successful in recruiting a social media volunteer who strengthened the organisations online presence enormously. 

Overall, the revamped online activity has played an important role in the organisation’s aim of creating a sustainable, inclusive community hub that – at the same time - contributes to the regeneration of Arbroath High Street.
