Portgordon Community Trust approached Accelerate as a new Development Trust about to take on a Community Hub and working towards asset transfer of the local harbour. A Community Enterprise Associate supported the group to identify and develop the documents and procedures needed to successfully undertake these projects and to support their first staff member in their new post.

With Accelerate support the Trust undertook a governance audit & developed a risk register

They also created and approved a health and safety policy

And carried out a board skills audit to prepare and set up a GDPR compliant membership application process
